About
Boamahonline was founded by Adwoa Okyere, her vision is to introduce stylish yet affordable designs, made in African using wax-print fabrics to the world.
The name Boamah derives from 3 generations of Asante women; her grandmother, mother and herself - the company was set up to honour the two late Boamahs.
Some of the handmade garments that will be shown on this site will showcase artisan traditional skills and techniques used on certain garments and products. All products are sourced from Accra and Kumasi, ethically with fair trade principles.
Boamahonline has two creative seamstresses: Ama Kesewaa and Felicia Bioh. Ama Kesewaa is based in Accra and Felicia Bioh is based in Kumasi.
Both have 10 years plus in experience in making dresses, skirts, tops and have not only the skills but experiences in their chosen career.
Our vision for BOAMAH is to Be able to develop our own wax print fabrics, produced in Ghana, owned by Ghanaians and sold worldwide.
